After the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic forced SF cultural pillar Outside Lands to cancel its 2020 edition, organizers created Inside Lands, a virtual festival with live and archived sets from the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Gorillaz, J. Cole, Jack White, Haim, Major Lazer, Anderson Paak., Kehlani, and more helping 3.2 million unique viewers, more than half of whom tuned in from outside the U.S., find some solace in a confusing and overwhelming time for the world, and even weaving in aspects of the usual Outside Lands experience like Wine Lands and the GastroMagic stage.
